The Yellow River Basin Talent Collaborative Innovation Center was Inaugurated in the Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research, Followed by the Establishment of the Regional Cooperation Alliance for Attracting and Gathering Talent

On December 27, in order to fully leverage the academic, scientific research, and talent advantages of Tsinghua University, the overlapping advantages of Qingdao, which has the largest estuary in the Yellow River Basin and the West Coast New Area, as well as the development and opening advantages, and to create an important regional talent center and innovation highland, the Yellow River Basin Talent Collaborative Innovation Center was inaugurated in the Tsinghua(Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research(TASA), followed by the establishment of the Regional Cooperation Alliance for Attracting and Gathering Talent Platform.

LIU Weidong, Secretary of Party Branch and Assistant to President of TASA, expressed that with the construction of the Yellow River Basin Talent Collaborative Innovation Center and the establishment of the Regional Cooperation Alliance for Attracting and Gathering Talent Platform, TASA will serve as a bridge for communicating Tsinghua University's innovation resources to the West Coast New Area and all partner cities and projects. It is expected that all parties will join hands together and contribute their respective strengths to enhance the momentum of ecological protection and high-quality development along the Yellow River Basin.

At the ceremony, the Yellow River Basin Talent Collaborative Innovation Center was officially inaugurated, and 11 projects, including Changyu Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Yiwei Automation Co., Ltd., and Shandong Yongchuang Material Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed contracts to settle in the Yellow River Basin Talent Collaborative Innovation Center. The first Regional Cooperation Alliance for Attracting and Gathering Talent, which serves as the major national strategy of the Yellow River, was officially established. Ten regions, including Wudu District of Longnan in Gansu, Wushen Banner in Inner Mongolia, and Zhucheng, Tai'an High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and Zouping in Shandong, formally joined the alliance.

The Yellow River Basin Talent Collaborative Innovation Center is located at TASA, with a built-in research and development center gathering area of 12,000 square meters, which provides talent apartments, research project application consultation, human resource services, and other support for project settlement, focuses on attracting listed companies, prospective listed companies, high-tech enterprises, and provincial-level "specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative" enterprises in the fields of new energy, new materials, intelligent manufacturing, high-end chemicals, artificial intelligence to establish the high-end talent research and development center in West Coast New Area, creating a first-class domestic science and technology innovation base and high-end talent gathering base. It is planned to introduce around 80 enterprise talent innovation (R&D) centers and gather approximately 1,000 innovation-oriented talented individuals by 2026.

To seize the opportunity of the national strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, and to better play the role as a key strategic point in the collaboration between Tsinghua University and Qingdao, TASA actively introduces Tsinghua University's talent and intellectual resources and co-builds the Yellow River Basin Talent Collaborative Innovation Center with the Organizational Department of the West Coast New Area's Party Working Committee, providing a platform for introducing intelligence and innovation from cities along the Yellow River Basin and within the province to the West Coast New Area, creating opportunities for coordinated development of talent work between cities and providing comprehensive services such as project incubation, talent introduction, and technological innovation to set up research and development centers for enterprises, promoting the accelerated flow of high-end talent and innovation elements between cities, and helping to achieve deep integration and development of talent chain, innovation chain, industry chain, and capital chain.

In the future, TASA will integrate the core competencies of settled enterprises, aggregate the technology demand assessment and research achievements, and comprehensively blend into the industrial development along the Yellow River Basin. By seeking government policy support, it will empower, upgrade, and transform industries across the entire Yellow River Basin, and promote all-round cooperation among university resources, the local government, and enterprises in areas such as project incubation, talent cultivation, and collaborative innovation, and contribute to the successful implementation of major national strategies.

In this symbiotic ecology of the Yellow River Basin, talent innovation is like a trickle, continuously emerging, nourishing this fertile land like life-saving water. This innovative force is not only the driving force of science and technology, but also a nurturing guidance for cultivating talent, injecting continuous momentum into the country's development. Through close cooperation, TASA will strengthen the cooperative ties of unlimited potential with various partners, jointly creating a more prosperous and innovative future, and contributing our strength to the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.
